Take Tens

A Take Ten is an occasional short piece on a single subject. It is designed to provide you with timely information or to offer you a provocative essay that only requires about ten minutes of your time to read.

New for July, 2008 is Linda McGinn's thoughts about expansion at the Bon Secours Center in Maryland. Called Boomers Don't Like to Share, Linda and center director Dr. Thomas Little share personal experiences with the renovation process at their center.

A View From Cuba- Florida Baptists Form Partnership- a special Take Ten by Don Sawyer, CCCP, regarding his experiences recently in Cuba. The Lake Yale Conference Center, where Don serves as Director, has formed a partnership with a Baptist Camp in Matanzas, Cuba. This Take Ten was completed after Don and his staff retuned to Leesburg, Florida.

Lessons from Hurricane Charley- a special Take Ten by Alice Bishop-Foley, CCCP, regarding her experiences with one of Florida's hurricanes. This Take Ten was completed by Alice as a requirement for her CCCP certification that she received in November, 2006 at Zephyr Point.
